What to expect from Life Beyond’s Open Alpha 1
On June 29th, Web3 MMO Life Beyond launched Early Access to the game’s Open Alpha 1. Those who hold AAK, AAK-X, AAK-BAYC, or Dolos Passport NFTs already got the first look at the game. But guess what? Starting from July 6th, everyone will be able to join the game, even if they don’t own any NFTs.Â
According to Darewise Entertainment, the creator of Life Beyond, Open Alpha 1 is the first in a series of Alphas to come over the next few months. There will be 3 eras in total, namely the Pioneering, Settling, and the Governing era. To start off, Open Alpha 1 will focus on Pioneering, where Agents (a.k.a. players) will fight, explore, and gather resources on an alien planet called Dolos.Â
So, players will have 5 different expeditions to take on during Open Alpha 1. Each will come with 3 levels of difficulty. As they complete every mission, they will earn in-game currency to buy new items and upgrade their weapons. What’s more, if Agents are active enough, they will stand a chance to win a share of 1 million $DOL tokens as well.Â
More Alphas are coming soon
As mentioned, Open Alpha 1 is one of the many Alphas in Life Beyond. Looking at the roadmap below, Open Alpha 1 will run till the end of Q4 this year. After that, the team will roll out Open Alpha 2 in the 1st half of 2023. With this, the game will move into the Settling era, where players will get to build, farm, and craft using the resources they gathered earlier. Lastly, by Q3 2023, Open Alpha 3 will go live. At this stage, Life Beyond will focus on the governing aspects of the game. Thus, in-game politics and laws will come into play.Â
